i've got more to deal with tomorrow so i'll take a few photos and make reference to the two area i had to move. basically i had to remove the two bolts on the left side of the compressor where it attaches to the slider plate. this allowed the compressor to go below the farthest adjustment with the adjuster bolt or the slider would allow. thus i had to losen the pivot under the compressor so that plate could be moved out. more to follow tomorrow...and i'll document a few things.

we also couldn't get the power steering pump pivot bolt to come off even with oil and heat. thus we took the three bolts for the mounting arm off the block. this was easier then dealing with the tensioner arm!
