This post reminded me of another Road-Fix I did on my Westy. Don't know if it's a long lasting solution, but it worked well on the road and is still holding.....

Driver side door was in an accident with PO. Repair done ok, but window didn't seal against runner rubber. The Road-Fix?

Weather stripping. The good high density type. Don't recall which thickness. Feathered bottom of strip (so window wouldn't roll it up), and ran it along source of leak (put strip facing out between forward rubber runner strips). Had to futz with postioning, but end result was it took out extra play between window and rubber, and cut out a lot of wind noise.

Cheers.
