Subject: Battery size to fit under bench seat?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1; format=flowed

I recently installed a Norcold DC0040 refrigerator while draws more current than I expected (see my post, "Norcold Results") and I want to increase the size of the aux battery. I presently have an Optima installed under the driver's seat. It was a mighty job modifying the battery to fit with the lid closed, and it might have been damaged over the winter by a cheap Harbor Freight trickle charger, I'll test it later.

But I think I want more capacity. I've already removed the heater from under the rear bench seat and have plenty of room there. What's a good Group size that fits well?
