I did all the mods to my Dometic that I could find: new fan on the rear fins, internal air-stirring fan, another fan to exhaust hot air out the side of the van. The burner always lit quickly, never blew out. The best the refrigerator could ever pull was a 40F differential between ambient and internal temp. With 27C (80F) outside, I would find 40F inside.
