Hey no worries! I'll be keeping it. And hey, I only got verbal with it before knowing anything of these refers. (I think I made it cry during third re-install....) At one point I considered installing a Norcold. Got some help from list, and got Dometic working. Big advantage being able to use LP, (duh) so it's a "keeper". At least until I install a farm of wind turbines on the poptop. ;^)

Thanks for your info. I have an untested refer from an 85 Westy. Looks like it will fit my 81. (and looks "newer". maybe better design??) Maybe I'll get off my a**, inspect it, bench test it on AC and upgrade it.
