The rear retracting shoulder belt I installed in my '85 Westy was from GoWesty. The bolt that came with the reel screwed right into where the plastic Phillips head plug was. No trouble getting it started.

I suppose you could take that bolt to a hardware store and see if the matching nut they have for sale will thread onto it. At least that way you'll know if the bolt is good ... although you should be able to tell just by careful inspection.

There is some info in the archives about adding headrests to Westy rear seats. It's not at all the same as adding them to passenger van seats.

It seems that Chris Turner (JordanVW) wrote something about this.
