Subject: 85 Manual 7 Pass. for sale at junk yard in MA - $600
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

Firstly, I have no connection to this van, but thought it might help out other local MA residents who don't have access to the plethora of vans that our brethren on the west coast have.

I stopped by Route 128 Auto Salvage in Waltham today at lunch to pick up a mirror for my wife's car, and there out front was a nice looking 85 with a sold sign on it. I poked around it a bit - the exterior is in very nice shape- dark blue with no surface rust upon a cursory glimpse. Also, it lacked any major body damage that I saw other than a few small dings. I haven't seen too many vans with the chrome bumpers in such great shape. The interior was blue and seemed complete and in decent shape.

I inquired at the office about it and apparently they sold it to someone who hasn't claimed it yet for $700. It apparently is leaking coolant, but I didn't press on the mechanical details since I wasn't going to buy it, even though the guy told me I could have it for $600. Anyway just a heads up for someone looking for either a good parts van or a project. The number there is 781-890-0025

cheers,

Paul
