My comparison is one to one, the stock 212 (?) to a 9 LED direct replacement, exactly 10 to 1 on current draw. The interesting technology is the *Cold Cathode Fluorescents**, some specs here:* http://www.cetsolar.com/ccfspec.htm But look to be a pricey solution.
