Subject: shocks *i know, dead horse*

BEAT BEAT BEAT on the dead horse.

I spent the last 40 minutes reading a lot of informative information about shocks on the archives but couldn't find a definitive answer to the question I have.

Im installing 27x8.5R14 and thinking about the vancafe 2wd lift springs to get a little more clearance for desert/trail driving in texas. Now the question is will stock replacement shocks, ie bilstein HDs handle the added height of the vehicle? I heard something about ranchos that fit but couldn't find it in the archives.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Jonathan
