Woof!  So there is a crush space after all.  Too bad we're sitting in it.

This certainly shows the limitations of the "hard front"
philosophy.  Do you know the test conditions?  Instructive to compare
this with the photos of the Folksam offset-headon test against the Volvo wagon.

It's always made me a bit queasy to know that the design philosophy
in effect was to turn the other vehicle's crush space into a shared
resource, trying to save my life at the expense of the other
guy's.  This really brings it home in a wrenching way.

These vehicles -- seriously -- need airbags.  Big ones, facing
out.  With a thiotimiline trigger.
