Subject: HELP!! stripped spark plug hole. ***FIXED***
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"

Well I went to my FLAPS and picked up a spark plug hole repair kit and started to work this morning. The kit I got required no drilling and worked like a charm. All told the job took about and hour for the repair and required the following - 1 repair kit, high temp thread sealer, grease ( to keep the shavings from entering combustion chamber), 3/8 ratchet and extension, new spark plug, spark plug antiseize, half a pack of smokes, 2 dr peppers, a milky way, and some patience.

While I was waiting for the thread sealer to dry I removed the plastic "chrome" from all window seals save for the ones on the front doors. Are there front window gaskets that don't have chrome trim?

Thanks to all who gave input.

Jonathan
