Actually it wouldn't have been me, as my advice is generally not to mix new with old. Yes, replacing just one often will work, but the new one's lifespan will be shortened. If the one you didn't replace is worn and weak, the new one is handling more than its share of the load and will tend to fail prematurely. So if you replace them one at a time you end up replacing them more often.
