You are correct in mentioning that too much moisture in the system would be bad news. I should have mentioned that my compressed air system runs pretty dry since most of the moisture is removed by several filters. The drier/receiver will take care of the small amount left in the lines. Maxifrig recommends NOT to evacuate the system. Not sure why. Anyway, I am not too concerned about corrosion problems under these circumstances. Keith O. 90 Westy Syncro
