I have the brown trim in my 84 westy & most of it has not shrunk at all, but I have noticed that a couple of places have shrunk in the last couple of years, about 3/8" at one end-the piece that runs atop the water storage cabinet, & a piece on the upper cabinet over the bed. I wonder if the shrinkage occurs in areas that get hotter or more sun exposure than others? I will definitely try to stretch it back as it does bug moi also.
