I would replace the clip. Last month I had an annoying thumping coming from underneath. I had paranoid thoughts about bad CV's etc. It was only the speedometer cable which came out of the brake backing plate. The cable was whipping around in the tire carrier. I didn't notice that it had come out because my speedo wasn't working at the time. BenT |
