At least the rebuilt I got at Checker (Kragen/CSK/Schucks) came with a Lifetime warranty. Still get the delight of replacing it when/if it fails but 'starters for life' for $99 makes it about as good as it gets. So far it has performed fine (just 2 years). Geo Hahn
