Hi Karen I don't worry about clock drain on my 84 Westy. It stops under 60F (prolly still pull juice though). Garbage and gunk after many years of use gathers in the movement and someday (or never), I will pull it to clean it out. This is typical of 80-85 models with analog clocks. So I wear a watch ;-) You actually have a clock that works on your Vanagon? ;-) -- Jim Thompson 84 Westfalia 2.1 "Ole Putt" 73 K Ghia Coupe "Denise" 72 411 Station Wagon "Pug" oldvolkshome@gmail.com http://www.oldvolkshome.com ********************************** On 7/13/06, karen d <yosemite333@hotmail.com> wrote: > > I know a clock doesn't have much battery drain but is there a way to stop > my > clock ....it's not the digital version.
