I read this email from Lisa Bliss asking for travel information for a family that is in part in my area of the USA.

So, I sit here and type up a nice little bit of information about some places this family might go as they try the non-95 route from GA to ME . I've traveled these areas in MD, VA, WV and PA a good bit and figure it might be what she wants to know and helpful in someway.

What do I get but an automated response from a spam blocker that says she won't get my email unless I fill out some form and get approved to send her email which can go through to her and she will then decide to read.

I can't quite believe it. This person sends an email to this list asking for personal info for her vacation knowing that all the pmail replies are going to get rejected and that all the senders are going to be asked to fill out some form that may or may not get us approved to be among the chosen from whom she might receive email.

At least she should have had the courtesy to tell us this was going to happen and to reply to the list rather than having us waste our time if we sent pmail.

Virtually all of the replies I got to requests for vacation area info were pmail.

And this isn't the only post she has made in the last day or so to the list asking for help.

What a trip.

Maybe she will read this or maybe even the list is blocked by her spam filter.

Sam
