Greetings, I am still trying to get my youngest daughter's 86 Vanagon (AKA "The Mystery Machine") configured to her "specs". I asked about a month or so ago about reversing the second seat, and was able to do so but that did not work out 100% to her approval. What I was wondering about now was changing out the regular 2nd row seat with a pair of the individual rear facing seats such as I have seen in a few other Vanagons. From what pictures I have seen (eBay, etc.) they seem to be either one or two of the individual seats that are mounted against the back of the first row seats.

First, what is involved in making this change? Second, What (or where) would be a good source of two of these seats?

Thanks all,

Route 66 Rider! Ramon Hill Live Long and Be Free
