Lisa ~~ You need to take 70 west from the DC area to Breezewood Pa.// From Breezewood Take 30 west appox .6 to 8 miles to 26 north to the right //. appox 25 to 30miles north // take 994 to the right go about 1mile and turn right into the Lake Raystown Resorts .It is best to call for reservatations or imfo now -- 814-658-3500 ) They also have a Free Raystown Lake Region book that tells all about the area and things to see and do.// While there you may want to see the Indian Caverns & Lincoln Caverns ~ very unique ) you can also go to the town of Gettysburg about 60 miles SE from the lake . // Also on your way up 70 West in Maryland check out the Civil War Battlegrounds in the Hagerstown, Boonesboro realm Battles ~ Antietam, Boonesboro, Sheppardstown ,South Mountain etc..
