Hi All,

I just got a new Bomon skylight for my Adventurewagen top and I am trying to decide which orientation to use when mounting it. It is MUCH larger than a westy skylight and can easily be mounted facing either direction.

On the one hand the stock westy setup where it opens facing rear is likely safer if I accidentally leave it open.

On the other hand mounting it facing forward allows air to be brought in from the front of the van while parked or camping... the only direction NOT currently available in our vans (the only VW vans with this ability were the old Safari window splits

Chris

P.S. Bomon messed up and made my first skylight too small, its likely still available for purchase from tehm if anyone is interested.
