It sounds like you need to get an original from a parts van ... LOL.
The coils in my '84 and my '85 are factory originals and are still doing
I'm converting my '84 to the '85 style distributor cap so I can use the
later sparkplug and coil wires and have obtained a "Previously owned"
OEM coil to complete the change over.
