The cigarette lighter is a European size, which makes it too big for most US cig. Lighter plugs. I had a cell phone car charger that came with a plastic insert that was there just for this phenomena, and was able to get another one from the cell phone folks at Radio Shack. They pulled it out of a phone package and gave it to me. Radio Shack continues to be an undervalued American resource.
