Subject: Thules on top with Yak racks
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

I've got two black thules on top . . with thule racks. . . these were the high tower version, had them cut so the extension is two inches long, got new center bolts (for tightening attachment grip of tower on bar) from Ace that fit off the shelf . . the riveted part had to be cut, got stainless steel screws from Lowes and self locking nylon nuts . . .

The front tip of the thule is even with the back edge of the frontmost roof sheetmetal 'rib' - - - and it looks really good in that position . .

There is space or room for adding two more racks under the thules, and even seemless tracked luggage cage for at the very front of the vanagon

I'm very happy with this . . .
