Subject: Autopage (?) - remote keyless
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

I'm getting remote keyless for my vanagon - - a listee said I would need to add an actuator - - and he's right . . . went to different stereo shops in Orange County around Harbor Blvd - they all want to install alarms . . . best price, with window roll up upon 'activation' (but no window roll down) is 265.00 - the other guy wanted 350.00, and another guy was dismissive of the 265 price . . . but the guy offering 265 was the most clean cut, non-pressure, nice guy . . . and what he is offering is a product called Autopage . . . I have no idea what to think of this product, nor do I have any recognition of the other products that were offered to me at the other places . . . I really wasn't looking for an alarm, and come to think of it I can't even remember the last time I heard someones alarm going off ... . seems like I used to always here it . . . I suppose on occasion I could use it . . . but in some ways I'm not sure an alarm is a deterent . . .

Anyone have any recommendations?

BTW (as far as autopage goes, I'd go with the product that doesn't come with a 'pager' - the pager looks like a toy of a some kind . . and is too bulky . . . )
