Mellow Yellow has a fold-down stainless steel drainboard that lays on the stovetop. VW put four beige rubbery bumps on the underside of the sink/stove cover to press against the top of the drainboard when the drainboard is in the upright position. Possibly to keep it from rattling. Over time, or maybe due to heat, those four beige rubber bumps have sorta melted, and they've run and blobbed. I've been staring at the melts wondering how to get them off. Going at them with a solvent looks potentially messy. Scraping could get ugly, the way I do it. So I'd like some advice. If this request yields as many responses as I got yesterday on how to keep the glovebox from falling open, I'll have more good ideas than I'll know what to do with. -- Mike "Rocket J Squirrel" Elliott 71 Type 2: the Wonderbus 84 Westfalia: Mellow Yellow ("The Electrical Banana") 74 Utility Trailer.
