Subject: WTB Needed Front suspension Part for early 85 vanagon
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"
Hi all
I Need a part that broke on my 85 Vanagon Westi. I think it will fit from 80 to october 84. it is called the stabilizer Link on page 40.2 of the bentley manual. Mine
snaped at the threaded pin side due to rust and froze into the strut bar. This is the piece that connects the stabilizer bar to the strut bar. more or less a sway bar
link. I could also use the washers and spacer sleeve if avail. Im putting in new bushings so i dont need that. I could also trade for the later style that is a straight
pin style vs this one that has the curve. Heck if anyone wants to trade any part from a later 85 vanagon let me know. I just happen to have probably the last
made vanagon with this style link. Thanks for any help. also i dont need the sway bar (stabalizer bar) or anything else other then washers and sleeve but i do
have the others from the late model 85. just a back up plan is all. you can email me off list to make it easier. thanks Jonce
