after you pop the top cover off (pull from the little grab handles on the rear edge), remove the plastic brake fluid drip tray, remove the 4 phillips screws, disconnect the plug and you should be good to go. the reverse to install the new one. (if you were going from an '84 to an '86, you would have to pull/change some pins on the connector) I, a beer drinking mechanic, can finish the job in about half an hour.
