Just want say thanks for the input & yah now when I go lay it out the gps, aa battery. 2way radios looks quite at home on top of the aux battery behind the driver seat with 3 way cig lighter velcroed in... and I got a 2 way cig splitter for the lighter up front for the mp3 & the latop now where do i stuff my wrt54gs wireless router :) wonder if i can get my Sierra Wireless AirCardŽ 580 into the pcmcia slot to provide 1x data coverage looks like this will cheaper than voice roaming at 25cents per call + LD I can 60MB data access in us/canada for $30 for a month Now with my www.asterisk.org pbx happy inside the wrt routing iax voice calls to my ata attached to the cordless phone I think i have very low cost wireless voice access accoss the country
