Subject: Recommend propane bits and pieces [NVC]
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1; format=flowed

After having completed a series of measurements on my Dometic which I posted a couple of days ago, I want to see how it performs under the similar conditions using LPG instead of 120V.

The refrigerator is not in the Westy and it's on the bench. I'd like to get some parts so I can connect it to one of those small disposable bottles of propane, but I'm not a LPG expert, so I don't know what to get, nor where to get it all.

I reckon I need an inexpensive 11 wc inch regulator that screws onto the bottle, then a 4-foot (or so) length of hose with proper fittings to run from the regulator to the threaded fitting on the reefer. I know how to TFE connectors and look for leaks, and all the testing will be done outdoors, so I'm not expecting trouble except from Mrs Squirrel who tends to wonder when I'm going to blow the place up.

If anyone can help me select a regulator, hose, fitting adapters, and point me to someone who sells those things online, I would be obliged.
