Subject: Curious locations for hardwired 3 way cig power outlet ?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

So about to go on the x-country trip & added up my electronic gizmo list 1-mp3[player 2-garmin 530s with gps 1-aa battery recharger 1-recharge able flashlight 1-laptop

I have decided to go the 12v dc route rather than the inverter and install the 2x 3-way cig recharger http://www.thesourcecc.com/estore/Product.aspx?language=en-CA&catalog=Online&category=DC+AdaptorsandPlugs&product=2701550

so I sat in the van trying to decide the optimal location for these where did any one else mount their 3 way dc outlets ?

bearing in mind -ease of access -most rechagring will occur over night -there will be a mess of wire for 4-6 devices rechagring -ease of halling a heavy guage wire to the 3 way units

candidate locations -under sink (devcies on the floor) -beside rear light over 2 table (devices on the table) -piggy back of eisting outlet on front dash (devices laying on dash) -cut out the cabinet abover the ac plugs ??

some other brillant location ???
