Yes. There is an easy place to start your search. Look at the connections at the switch in the door frame. The drivers door has a special switch, with two connections, one for the lights, and the other for the "idiot" buzzer. Usually, the spikey-shaped tab that is supposed to make the ground connection gets crudded up, and can no longer do so. The switch just provides the ground for the circuit involved, so troubleshooting the switch is quite easy. 1) Pull the switch out of the door frame. 2) Examine the switch, and see if it has corroded at the contact point. Actuate it manually to find the that point. 3) One at a time, pull the wires from their connectors, and ground them to the body. A good spot is usually the edge of the hole the screw just came out of. 4) Each curcuit should work, as the ground is supplied. If not, the trouble is not in the switch. Keep looking. Good luck.
