Personally, I've never had a problem with batteries from WallyMart though I wasn't really aware of the change in their supplier so perhaps most of my experience predates that. I do use one of their Deep Cycle batteries (made in Mexico by Johnson Controls) but I have it under the rear/bench seat so I presume it is too big (group 24) to fit under the driver's seat.

If you get a battery from W-M just go to the back door and you're in & out in minutes. Never seems to be a line back there and they'll even remove the old one and put in the new if you're wrench-challenged or just lazy that day.

I realize most put the aux under the driver's seat but under the bench makes it real handy for adding an additional accessory outlet (cigarette lighter), AC power inverter, Voltmeters for main & aux, etc.
