My 1990 Westfalia has had a strange build up of what appears to be engine oil on the s-shaped tube that goes from the air filter box to the intake. My first hunch was that this may have been some of the seepage from the rear main which has a slight leak but there is none on the top of the engine. The oil is on the tube all of the way around. I have replaced the transmission and the inner and outer cv boots-nothing losing fluid/grease here. Has anyone on the list had this odd symptom? Thanks.
