I have the same on my '90 Westy. I think it comes from the crankcase breather tower and/or the short hose leading from it to the air intake hose to be re-burnt. Check that hose to see if it has not collapsed. If you look inside that air intake hose, you will see a fine coat of oil. That's my non-technical explanation :).
