O2 sensor. It's a shielded wire, make sure the shield doesn't short to the inner wire or it'll run hugely rich.

Brown you'd expect to be a ground, but a non-exhaustive pass over the '85 diagram in Bentley didn't show me any green/brown wires at all. Trace it back some, maybe can help more. Possibly the PO had a heated sensor in there at some point?
