Subject: Notice - Very Nice Low Mileage 2.1L Engine & Tranny on eBay
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII"

Volks,

John Ranney, Vanagon Rescue Squad Member, Vanagon owner and Shop owner of European Auto Tech in Tucson, AZ has a couple of things for sale on eBay that might be of interest.

John just pulled his orginal 2.1L Waterboxer engine & auto tranny to prepared for a Subie 3.3 install.

I'm very familiar with this Van and had the pleasure borrowing it for a week while the Roadhaus was in for repair.

Felt honored as John doesn't lend his baby to anyone, so I was a nervious wreck and couldn't wait to get it back to him.

This is a low milage, strong Van and in almost showroom condition.

The engine and Tranny are incrediblyl strong and quiet with 77,418 original miles and the engine had head gaskets done ~3000 miles ago.

If someone is looking for a strong engine or auto tranny, these are worth checking out.

Maybe even more important, after many more miles of use, you would have a really sold well maintained core that would make a great rebuild candidate.

Good cores are getting hard to come by.

Here's some of his current auctions,

1987 Vanagon Auto Transmission automatic vw http://tinyurl.com/gptkb

1987 alloy rims Vanagon Westfalia Michelin wheels vw http://tinyurl.com/lxse6

good road, good adventure, good life, larry chase www.roadhaus.com soon to be roadhaus.org
