TC:
I looked into the fram SD-2 earlier too. Over a year ago I questioned
the list about the wisdom of this device and the consensus was "warning:
do at your own risk" due to it being torn from underneath by getting
caught on something while driving (of course, a curb never entered that
list). I appreciated the views as a new van owner! There are many good
views that would have escaped my limited vision. Pigeonholing and
*discussing* are the "thinks" we do here! ;-)
I'm not criticizing - we're all here to learn from each others'
successes and experiences - but I would recommend (depending on how much
lower it is below) that you simply make it part of your routine to "keep
an eye on."
As for the criticism you endured from the other list member - shrug it
off. It's your van, not his or hers. Besides, unless you politely took
his name off the header, it's hard to give credibility to someone who
posts to our list as "------" or "anonymous"
