I just read Max Wellhouse's post (time stamped 2 hours ago) and noticed the following: "The coolant temp ...stayed in the 100-103 degree C range until mid afternoon when it was working its way to 110. The sending unit is in that skinny hose towards the rear of the 3/4 cylinder side and for what it's worth" "...I noticed the coolant had risen to 110 C. I flipped the switch to see what the oil temp was and it was well over 130C!" So I don't know what "skinny hose towards the rear" is, as there are a lot of hoses there with different degrees of relative skinniness-- but it looks like HE should know something about it.
