You communicate a nice story.so glad you are backon your feet.I once bvought a vanagon that hasd been sitting for a few years. I went through every test in the bentley, twicc to get it started. NO luck. It turned outto be the fuelinjectors. they were gunked up and fuel could not flow. Two opposing cylinders were gunked, and the engine would run breifley on two opposing cylinders. Here is the fix,but I understand that the voltage may be too high here. a lower voltage may work and not hurt theinjectors. Remove the injectors. Get a valve stem from an old tire and carve it to fit into the injector hose. Fill hte injector hose with a table spoon of injector cleaner at the flaps.Clamp the hose/stem.Attach a bicycle pump to the stem. Now, hook the injector up to 12 volts and open the injector. Push on the bicycle pump and force thicleaner through theinjector. Works good |
