I don't know if I'm proud of it but I have kicked out a lot of Vanagon windows . I usually get the top out first then pull it out by hand the rest of the way. I don't reccomend getting screwdrivers anywhere near a window. I have never (knock on glass) broke one, except I also kick out cracked front windows after covering them with taped-on paper to prevent glass from flying. Side windows have an aluminum frame that bends so you must use more caution kicking these out. Robert 1982 Westfalia
