Hmmm! I think I would rather go with one of those tiny wall/window units and hang it from the van front pass. window opening.. That way it has no inside footprint like the Walmart room portable - doesn't take valuable space inside when parked. Window unit just sits outside, making cool air inside. And they are made to be in the weather in the even it rains.
