Here is my archive post: http://gerry.vanagon.com/cgi-bin/wa.exe?A2=ind0005C&L=vanagon&P=R18734 I'd attach the bottom of the canvas to where the nice (black) cord reaches the bottom rail and them I'd loosen the top rail, 2 screws at a time, and pull the excess canvas though and re-attach it, and cut off the excess. I'd want the bottom to look nice, as that's at eye level. I hope that is of some help. Mine fit nearly perfectly. M
