Sorry, I think there are already enough idiotic drivers on the road that also don't have insurance to disprove that theory. Basically a lot people are fundamentally in denial: Nothing bad is gonna happen to me / whatever it is, I'm smart and capable and I can handle it. The emotional non-filters are in control, the logic filters are permanantly off-line.

You don't know how violent, fast and unexpected an auto accident can be until you've been in one.
