Is it an air-cooled? Couldn't tell for sure with the bra on but it looks like it has the 2nd water-cooled grill under the top grill. Wasn't 1982 the last production year for air-cooled vanagons? Also saw the overhead storage compartment over the bench seat so does it have front a/c? All a/c in vanagons/Westys would have the evaporator housing where this one appears to have the storage cabinet. Just a few questions that I would want to answer before I leave on my road trip from Roanoke, VA to NE PA to buy it for my friend today. If it truly is as described, I will hold a gun to his head to make him pay the asking price. Thanks for your time and info on this beautiful Westy!
