Sitting for 4 years with only 1 gallon of gasoline, especially with the humidity you were talking about, isn't a good thing. You would have been better off with a full tank.

There is likely much rust, junk, and water in the tank. I'd start by draining it completely, maybe flushing it, and see what comes out. Of course, change the fuel filter.
