David,
     I have heard that a part of the clutch bushing
bracket can break as the bushing wears.   My clutch
pedal will clunk every once in a while.   I wonder if
this bracket is related to that kind of problem and
when the bushing gives out? will I still be able to
use the clutch.   I think you need to pull the dash to
view the problem so I am waiting for some other reason
to do this job?  gary

part number is.
It's a leftover part from when I scrapped out a Syncro
