My view of the pictures was that the bra was a generic one for water cooled Vanagons, but that this was definitely an air-cooled vanagon. And it doesn't appear to have AC. Factory AC was in the rear cabinetry, but in early vanagons, it was dealer installed and could have been up front. However, since this one appears to have a glove box, it is unlikely to have the dealer installed AC.
