The clunk felt in the clutch pedal is probably not caused by the pivot bushing but by wear in the hole where the slave cylinder rod attaches to the clutch pedal arm. This hole can get very elongated, even to the point where it wears all the way through. The pin that attaches the rod to the hole in the arm also wears at the same time, increasing the play. This problem seems much more common on Syncros but can also happen to 2wd. The pin is cheap to buy new, the arm can be repaired or replaced.
