hey.

i read in the archive of copper wire hammered flat as ring replacement. (part may be hard to find??)

I now realize brown wire actually provides the ground. I will inspect, clean, lube ring and assemble all. The ring looks ok. Hopefully it was just a short due to debris. Thanks.
